I have imported 300+ .txt files (each of which contain around 12000 data) with partial import through multiple ASCII function, however i need them all to be in one worksheet in order to make a histogram . i use origin8 and i know there is a function Append Worksheets, but i don't seem to find it under Worksheet toolbar in this version of origin. i don't want to sit and spend 3 days manually merging the tables. please help.

Hi Koskis,

You will need a minimum version of Origin 2015 which is Origin 9.0 to be able to use the Append Worksheet function.

See documentation:
https://www.originlab.com/doc/X-Function/ref/wAppend

You could maybe try to import the data into one worksheet. If you are using Import Mulitple ASCII -> For Multi-File Import Mode tab -> Select Start New Column.

Similarly, if you already have data in a worksheet and want to import a new dataset into the same worksheet. Activate the worksheet -> Select Import Single ASCII -> and Under 1st File Import Mode -> Select Start New Columns.
