Origin Ver. and Service Release: 2019, 9.6.0.172
Operating System: Win10, 64x

Hello,
I'm making an analysis template to process multiple datasets. One of the steps of the analysis is creating a copy of a fitting results table as a new sheet to do the further calculations.
The fitting is performed on columns that have long names and user parameters imported from an ASCI file and they are numerical values. When I'm creating a copy of summary table the dataset identifier becomes text and I have to manually set the properties of the first column to make origin treat it as numbers.
Is there a smarter way to make it?
Best regards,
Malgoska

Hi, Malgoska

Actually the values on the created worksheet from Summary table to links to the table.

If you manually set the first column to be numeric. The links will be broken and converted to value, which can not be updated for new data and may not work for your analysis template.

For your requirement now, I can only suggest you add a new column and set it's F(x) = value(A) to get the numeric values for your analysis template

We have added this problem to our bug tracking database, ORG-19430, and will improve it in the future version.
