Origin Version: 2018b
Service Release: b9.5.5.409
Operating System: Windows 10

I have a multi-panel plot with three data sets in each layer. Two of those three data sets are grouped. I need one of those two that are grouped to be individually offset. This individual offset is unique to each layer.

What is happening now, is that I try to change the individual offset for a single layer and it changes it for every layer. Any advice on how to deal with this issue would be gratefully appreciated!

Could you open Plot Details dialog.
Select the top Graph node on the left panel.
Then on Layers tab, check if some checkboxes are checked under Common Display.

This is new feature added in Origin 2018b to get consistent multi-layer graphs by changing on one layer but for your case, you should uncheck it.
See this video. https://www.originlab.com/Index.aspx?go=Support/VideoTutorials&pid=3334. It may be helpful for you in other cases.

Thanks, Snow
