Hi,

I have 7 sets of data (7 columns) all set as Y. I'd like to plot it as Weibull distribution plot separately but to appear in ONE window frame plot. Origin does not allow to select all columns together and must be selected one. How we can do that.
Please see the plot that I have plotted by Minitab.

Thanks

Hi,

My suggestion will require a bit of work but will produce the results you want. Really it is not hard.

1. Create 7 separate Weibull plot graphs.
2. For all 7 plots, use the Plot Details dialog to distinctively style the 4 plots in each graph. Just worry about the plots.
3. For each graph, delete the Legend.
3. For 6 of the 7 graphs, use the Axis Dialog to hide all elements of the graph but the actual plots.
4. For the remaining graph, style the axes as you'd like.
5. From the Graph menu, select Merge Graph Windows.
6. Make sure all 7 graphs are selected for merging.
7. Set Number of Rows=1, Number of Columns=1, and check Link Source Graphs.
8. Click OK.

You now have all 7 graphs stacked on top of each other as 7 layers.

9. Open the Plot Details dialog, and from the Legends/Titles tab, check Include data plots from all layers when constructing legend.
10. Click OK.
11. Using the Axis Dialog further style the axes, etc to make it look the way you want.
12. When done and with the graph active, hit CTRL+L to reconstruct the legend.
13. Finally, right-click on the Legend and select Properties to go in and customize the legend.

I hope this gets you going in the right direction.

Thanks,
