Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2018(64bit) b9.5.0.193
Operating System: Windows 10

The main problem is that i dont understand how correctly to do an approximation and which parameters to use for determination how definitely function chosen fits data. For example, Residual Sum of Squares, R-Square (COD), Adj. R-Square are. How use it?
I have read about them in Help Online, but i want to see a practical example. I did some approximations and i think that R-square is big for these results and i did something wrong. Maybe before I have to adjust some settings? Because i just choose default sigmoidal fit and make fitting. Just, i want to know when i have to use СOD and when others.
Thanks in advance.
