Sometimes we would like to illustrate e.g. the effect of different treatments relative to a control with data scaled with the control value. Thus 'no effect' will give a value of 1, doubling give a value of 2 and half the effect give a value of 0.5. If this kind of data are plotted as column plot, it is difficult to compare the effects, as when the values are increased relative to the control, they are in the range [1, infinity), and all the decreased values in the range (0,1] due to the nonlinear mapping (a decrease, however large it is, can maximally produce a change in the column height as large as a two-fold increase would produce). If a log (log2) axis be used and the colums have their bases at he level of "1", comparisons could be easily made (see figure below). Of course error bars etc should be added, but is this kind of plot at all available in Origin? I tried but could not produce one (the figure below has been done by drawing rectangles on a Origin log2 layer)

This was what I was looking for. I did try to find the 'log axis floor at 1' option, but didn't check the tools/options.
