Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:
Hi everyone, I have an experimental data containing about 5000 frames(10 frames per seconds). Each frame contains area size distribution.I want to find the probability distribution of the area sizes for all the frames using origin. I have attached an excel file containing results for 50 frames in 5 seconds. Please can someone guide me on how to use origin to find the area size distribution for all the 5000 frames.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Please try Statistics: Descriptive Statistics: Distribution Fit. Here is the tutorial you can refer to:

Hi Amanda, thanks for your reply. But the tutorial deals with data from just one image,in my case I have arrays of data from many images. Any idea on how I could do this?

Igwe.

Hi,

Do you mean you want to find out distribution of each image? If so, you can run distribution for each array. It supports multiple column or grouped data as input.

Or do you mean to combine the arrays of many images into one and find out it's distribution? If so, you can use Worksheet: Stack Columns tool to combine the array first and then perform Distribution Fit

Thanks,
Amanda
