Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.0
Operating System: Windows 2000

Hi,
How would I go about fitting multi-peak Voigt through nlsf; i.e there's no way to select the number of peaks. On the other hand, the quick menu options exist for Gaussian and Lorentz, but not for any other ones.
The solution I'm looking for can be programmatic, i.e. how to start the nlsf session with #peaks and $func? arbitrary

Thanks,
Vasiliy

Hi Vasiliy,

Use replicas to fit multiple peaks...
Help > Origin > Curve Fitting > The Nonlinear Least Squares Fitter > Fitting Multiple Peaks with Replicas of the Function

For a programmatic solution use the nlsf object...
Help > LabTalk > Object Reference > Alphabetical Listing... > NLSF
