Hello,

I have real problem with slow performace of Origin. It applies to all the recent version. When I import files with large number of columns, everithing becomes very slow. You click on an axis to change the scale - 30 seconds. I have an impression that for every operation the Orgin scans all the columns in the project to verify if this operation will affect some dependecies, to deliver best customer experience, no doubt. If this or similar is the case, is there any way to disable this behaviour.

I've made two projects. Ona with a spreadsheet with 3 pairs of points and their plot. If I click on the Y-axis of the plot,it takes about 1-2 seconds to open the dialog. I don't really understand why it takes that long, but OK. Second project, contains same worksheet and plot, plus a worksheet with some 6000 coulmns. This second worksheet has nothing to do with the plot. Now, when I click on the plot axis it takes some 6 seconds to open the dialog. And it gets wors when you add data. The behaviour is the same with all recent version, but I've checked this example with 2019b.
