Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7 SR4
Operating System: XP

I'm trying to plot data with two different X data. In other words, I have one Y data and two X data. I used "Curve" to define X and Y pair and drew them. But always Y in a graph was linked to data column what was set to X not to what was defined in "Curve" statement.

Codes:
string strX = strPage + "_" + "Time";
string strY = strPage + "_" + "Cap";
GraphLayer grlay1 = grph.Layers(0);
Curve cvCap(strX, strY);
grlay1.AddPlot(cvCap, IDM_PLOT_LINE);

The column "Time" was set to Y and another column ("Bias") was set to X. The plot in a graph has line with "Bias" as X data and "Cap" as Y data.

Thanks.

Hi,

This was not supported in 7.0, but is supported in the current version of 7.5 - you can try in the 7.5 demo first.

In Origin 7.5 you can plot a Y column versus another Y column but you still can't plot the same Y column versus two different columns (X or Y) in the same graph layer. You must either use two layers or duplicate the column you want to plot twice. In Origin 7.0 you must also make "Time" an X column.
