I've got a few questions on Peak Filtering options in Peak Analyzer.
1) Number of Peaks: how does Origin decide what peaks to return as a specified number?

The peaks are picked from large height until the specified number of peaks are found.

Does this mean that Number of Peaks sorts all found peaks by height and takes the specified number of peaks from the top?
