Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): v7.0552
Operating System:WindowsXP

Hi anyone out there,

when I click on the help functions 'programming' or 'tutorials', I get an error message in the script window:
'Cannot load HTML help'
I've tried re-installing Origin and it helped, but after I had updated Origin, the same problem occured.
Does anyone know what the problem is and what I can do to fix it?

Hi Hendrik:

It sounds like your Help files have been corrupted.

Assuming that you are running English Origin on an English OS, I would advise you to go to this page and download the English Origin 7.0 SR4 Help files as a single zip file.

When you have downloaded the file, unzip the contained CHM files to your Origin program's \Help folder.

I believe that this will fix the problem for you.
