Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5776
Operating System: XP

When I insert a graph from Origin to Microsoft Word, the background of the graph becomes automaticaly gray, even if it was white in Origin. Using Word, I have to format object then choose white color to fill the graph. After this the background becomes white, but this process is taking time

Is there a way to correct this? I asked a few of my colleagues and some of them also had the same problem.

Thanks
Hakki

Hi Hakki,

The inserted graph in Word should be consistent with th graph in Origin. Hence I consider the problem would be probably caused by the settings in Word.

Try the following and check if it takes effect.

1. Open Word and select Tools menu -- Options.
2.Select View tab, in the "Field shading" combobox, make sure "Never" or "when selected" is selected, then click OK.

Try to insert the graph from Origin again and check if the two graphs are the same.

Good luck.Hope that it works.
