Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2021
Operating System: W10 Pro

Hi,

Is it possible to lock/save a particular column after saving the workbook as an analysis template? Let's say I defined the tests' names (as string) in col(A) and performed some analysis. Then I saved the workbook as an analysis template but Origin removes the tests' names.
I would like to save the analysis template with these, introduced by hand data.

Kind regards,
Dominik

Hi Dominik,

You can highlight the column or range and right click and choose Format Cells.
Check Disable Editing checkbox
Then save the analysis template.

Best,
Snow

Hi Snow,

Works perfectly! I think that the tutorials should be updated with something like "Tip & Tricks" for such information. It could be really useful. Unless I should know it from the help content?

Kind regards,
Dominik
