Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2018b
Operating System: Windows 10

I created a Grouped Bars - Indexed Data plot and I was wondering whether it was possible to format text and table borders from the different groups. I have been unable to find any option related to this.

For example, I would like to wrap text, or make lines thicker for the more exterior groups. Also, where could change text alignment for a single group?

Edit: I can wrap text if I manually enter a carriage return in the desired cells from the data table, but then, the carriage return also appears in the legend.

Thank you.

Hello,

If you doube click the tick label table, axis dialog opens with Tick Labels tab showing.
On that tab, there is Table tab and Format tab to do some customization.
For multi-table rows, e.g. thy follow first table row e.g. bottom1 style. But u can uncheck Auto to set each row differently.

The line thickness seems controlled by Line and Ticks tab so no control on individual border.

Wrap text isn't supported for table but u can first uncheck Enable on Table tab, then go to Format tab to specify wrap text. Then enable table back. It wraps text. Align is supported on Format tab under Tick Labels tab. (though i am not sure if it's in 2018b)

Let me know if it works.

Thanks,
Snow

Hi Clairekun,

Would you mind to send us a sample project/image, which shows the expected result, so that we can try to see what can be further improved?

Hi Clairekun,

The issue about "Enable wrap text for table row(ORG-10799)" has been fixed in recently-released Origin 2022.

Please download or upgrade to Origin 2022 to have a try.

Thanks,
Shirley
