Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:

Hello, I am a new user and am exploring Origin2021b. I have a question about large Excel data sets that I will be using Origin to create 2D, 3D graphs as well as conduct non-linear curvefits. Each of these datasets contains NaN values and am unsure how Origin will deal with these data values. Can someone explain to me how Origin deals with the NaN values when creating graphs? I want to be able to understand this so I can more fully understand and evaluate the graphs that will be created. Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Normally these missing values will be ignored when making graphs or performing curve fitting. Of course you can do missing value imputation if you know which imputation method to use.
