When preforming binary logistic regression, Origin references the first category of a categorical independent variable and then excludes it from the output. Therefore, it does not give values for coefficients, odds ratios, etc.
How can I obtain this information for the category that Origin references and then subsequently omits in the output?
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Hi CEversole,
In the dialog, after you select the categorical independent variable, you can use the Reference Factor Level to choose a level, see

Once you performed the analysis, you will get the reference info in the output table, just like:

Please let me know if you have any problem on this.
Thanks, Shirley
