Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Origin Pro 2021 (64-bit), 9.8.0.200
Operating System: Windows 10

Hey,
I would like to fill the area under a curve and I am using "fill to base". This leads to a filling until the bottom part of the axis. I would like to change the base, so that it´s slightly higher up. This is similar to the option "Inclusive broken by missing values" but the latter option gives me a visible base line. I dont want to see this one though.

Origin says that: "Baseline default to bottom axis, but you can customize it by adding additional line from grids tab of axis dialog". It seems I am doing it wrong, as I cannot include an invisible base line.

Anny suggestions? Thank! Aprreciate your time.

Best

One solution is to plot a horizontal line, then fill to this horizontal line. Then set the line to be transparent.

Hello,

related to the question:
I plotted a line (the thick black line in the picture) and tried to fill it to this line by selecting "Fill to next data plot - One color" but it doesn't work because it also fills areas of different curves. Also, it doesn't seem like it would fill to the baseline I plotted.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Best,
