Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2021b (64-bit) SR2 (9.8.5.212) Operating System: Windows 10 Education
Hi, I have a problem with the rotation of Objects. I want to rotate an object by typing a specific angle, but I can not find the combination box in the Dimensions tab of the Object Properties like below, https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Ob-Prop-Dimentions-tab

This is my situation. All Graphic Objects have same situation. (Line, Arrows, Rectangle, Circle ...)

And, I tried to control a 'LINE' object through labtalk based on the OriginLab Help "3.7.3.2 Graphic Objects" (https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/Graphic-objs#GObject_Variable_Type) But there is no available properties for the rotation (like "ANGLE" property) with a selected "LINE" object.

I checked with the latest version already by downloading the trial version, but had same problem. Is there any function which can activate the rotation property?
please help.
Thanks.
Regards, sykim

Hi sykim, we do not support rotate as a setting in dialog, we will fix this screenshot issue.
You can add a horizontal line first, and set @incgor to degree that you want. Then select line object, click rotate button in mini toolbar to set line object to this angle. @incgor decides the increment of rotate button in mini toolbar.
Thanks Cecilia |

Thanks for the reply.
Out of curiosity, is the rotation function not supported originally? Because 'text object' has the combination box to type or select the desired angle as the dialog in Origin-Help.

I think if the origin program really does not support the function, the Origin-Help and Labtalk page I posted should be corrected. It is really confusing for users.
If there is something wrong, I really really hope to fix this function as soon as possible.
Thanks.
