[font=Arial]Service Release: OriginPro2021
Operating System: Win10

Hi,

I am trying to fit my FRAP(fluorescence recovery after photobleaching) experiment data to a function in a jpg file I attached.

This function F(t) has three of fixed constants, which are (1) F_i = 1, (2) K = -0.5, (3) r_n/r_e = 0.5,
and the variable is 't' obviously.
The parameter I want to get is tau_De and the initial value is expected to be set to 0.5

I've checked the prior posts about fitting to some similar functions in this forum. (mainly Yuki's kind answers)
But my lack of knowledge of coding and mathematics is the only obstacle to figure it out.

I would be highly grateful if you share your knowledge.

Regard.

Hyojun

You can define such function with embedded Python in Origin. See the example below:

Thanks for your kindness James,

I checked the wonderful example already, but I am afraid to say that it seems only accessible for the latest Origin (Ver. 2021b) to write python codes on Fitting Function Bulder, not 2021 I am using.
I couldn't find any option of Python code among the "Function type" list on the Builder window.

If there are other choices I can make, please enlighten me.

Regards, Hyojun.

I am afraid you have to upgrade your Origin.
