Hello,

i am currently writing my thesis and i have a question on how to extract data from a contourplot.
So i have created a contourplot with some X,Y;Z values.

But i would like to get some Z values using X and Y values which i didnt use while plotting the contour.

How do i go by?

thanks

We don't support extract non-existing data from contour plot.

If you have XYZ data in worksheet, u can highlight Z and use Analysis: Mathematics: Interpolate Z from XY to get Z from a list of XY.

Thanks, Snow

Thanks for your reply.

I think i didnt ask my question properly. So i plotted a contour with some data(i uploaded it)
When i point the curser on the contourplot it shows me some corresponding xyz values.
So is it possible to search for values within the range of values used to plot the contour?

Thanks

If you made the graph from XYZ values, you can go to the worksheet with the XYZ columns. Select from menu Worksheet:Worksheet Query... You can then apply conditions to the X and Y columns to extract the data you wanted. Check this page on using Worksheet Query:
