Hi All,

I've generated a heatmap using data from an xyz sparse matrix dataset with the following command.

run.section(Plot3D,HeatMap);

A color bar is included in the new heatmap graph.

When using the SPECTRUM1 commands to edit the colorbar's properties, I get error prompts.

Command:
Spectrum1.levels.major=2

Error:
SPECTRUM1.LEVELS.MAJOR is illegal name for defining a variable
unknown error in expression assignment

I ran the list -o command and it returned the following,

1 3 __BCO2, 0x0f0c70e8
2 3 3D, 0x00a03f08
3 0 XB, 0x00a03b18
4 0 YL, 0x00a00548
5 3 ZCOLORS, 0x00a01118
6 3 3DCOLOR, 0x00a03c68
7 3 SPECTRUM1, 0x00a01268
8 7* _226, 0x00a04988

How do I get around this error and change the properties of the colorbar, using the Spectrum1 commands?

I'm running Origin 2015.

Thank you,

Can you check two things?
1> Hold on the Alt key and double click on the color bar? Check whether the object name is SPECTRUM1.
2> When you run the command, is the heatmap graph the active window?

Thank you
James
