Origin Ver. and Service Release: 2022 SR1 Operating System: Windows 10
One of my coworkers has a strange problem with the axis tick labels which I cannot reproduce on my PC. The y-axis is scaled from 0.0 to 1.0, the decimal places are set to 1. But on the graph he gets "0" instead "0.0" and "1" instead of "1.0":
Could your coworker 1. Preferences: Options. On Axis tab, if No trailing Zero is checked.
2. If not, check axis dialog, Tick Labels tab? What is the Display setting? E.g. if set it to Custom with Custom Format .1*, it will show 1 decimal place but without unnecessary 0.
"No trailing Zero" did the trick. I have never seen this option checked in my origin installations. I realized now this behavior can be controlled by a sysvar.
I think it would be more intuitive to put this option into the tick labels sections for the X and Y axis settings of a graph and store it with the project and not as general preference in Origin.
May be you could think about it in a future version of Origin.
