OriginPro 2022b (64-bit) SR1 9.9.5.167
Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64

Greetings!

I have set the Legend Translation to Comment and Group line color to User Parameter 1.
On Legend Update the Legend displays line colors only, but does not list individual graph charts.

Is there a way to lower priority of Group for Legend Translation?

Thank you.

Hi Andrey,

Good question. I created ORG-25817 to see if we can still list all plots though there are subgroups.

Thanks, Snow

Hi Andrey,
When group properties control by column label, data plot legend will use entries similar to categorical legend, but labels from label row. This style has higher priority than normal data plot legend.
For now there is a workaround, you can set line style to increment by one, and set details to solid style only. Then reconstruct legend could get normal data plot legend.

Thanks
Cecilia

Dear Cecilia,

The workaround is not clear.
Can you share a sample project, please?

Hi Andrey,

Go to Group tab of PD to see the line style.
In Details of line style, there is only 1 solid.

Thanks, Snow

Dear Snow,

Got it!

Dear Cecilia,

I think it is worth adding your reply below on the legend priority rule and the workaround to the on-line help on Origin.

Thank you.
