Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 2018b (64-bit) b9.5.5.409
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Hi,
how do I interact with a dialog created with
type -html
?

The example on the Homepage lists this sample:
type -html "<button>Click</button>";

How can I make my Labtalk script reacting on the button click?

If you just want to create a button to execute LT script, you may check this video on the steps:

If you would like to build an Html dialog, please check this page for examples:

Thank you, sir. Especially the second link is very helpful. I'm wondering what the use cases of type -html are. Could you explain this?

I would say it simply renders a static HTML page.

That makes sense. Thanks! (Then the example with type -html "<button>Click</button>" is somewhat misleading)
