Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin Pro 2018
Operating System: Windows 11

Hello,

I have to determine the fitting for a graph with two X axes where it follows this equation: y=a*x1+b*x2+c.
I have different values for y, x1 and x2 and I plotted the scatter of x1 and x2 versus y on 2 X axes.

Now I have to determine the fit to this curve using the equation I mentioned.
The problem is that using a user-defined function, the fit is only done for one layer (x1 for example) without taking into account the other layer (x2). Can anyone help me to proceed with such request?

Thank you.

Hi Joelle,
You don't need define the fitting function.

Please fit from the source worksheet data using the tool "Multiple Regression":

Thanks,
