Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2021Pro
Operating System: Win10

Hi everyone,

i am trying to align two same sized graphs horizontally by using the "merge graphs" command. I want to keep the layer proportions of both. The problem is that the total layer size does not adapt to the size of the graphs. There is a huge blank space. I choosed two columns and one rw respectiveley. But changing the total layer size manually jsut squeezes the graphs.

Thank you

In the Merge Graph dialog, under the Page Setup session, change Orientation to Landscape, and see if the layer fits within the page. Thanks.

James

Hi Christian,

We improved merge graph in Origin 2021b to support keep original layer size
https://www.originlab.com/ReleaseNotes/detail.aspx?id=2021b3ORG-23182

I guess the Orientation: Auto isn't available in your version.

U can manually change Height part to a reasonable value.

Please check Help: About Origin to check the maintenance expiration date. If it's after Origin 2021b release, u should be able to upgrade to 2021b for free.

Or if it's up to date, u can upgrade to latest Origin.

Thanks, Snow
