Origin Ver.: 2023 Operating System: Win10
I have an analysis template set-up, including a notes window to output the results in the correct format for downstream processing outside Origin.
This note window includes links to worksheet variables and curve fitting results, and I would like to output this as a .txt file, with these values. in other words, the tex file should be saved as the notes window shows in Render Mode.
However, if I save the window as a text file currently, the resulting file have the code for the links, not the values.
Is there any way to acheive this simply, ideally without writing a script to do it. |

Could you export the Note window to HTML file (menu Notes:Export to Webpage...) ?

Hi James,
thanks for your suggestion.
I've tried that, and that also seems to output the link text codes rather than the values (checked in Edge and Chrome browsers). Note that I've tried both saving directly and changing the syntax to HTML and then saving. Perhaps there's more I need to do to convert from Rich-text to HTML?
Even if it did work, I was hoping to not have to change the existing scripts that then read the files, which currently require simple text files. |

Please find the attached zip file of the project and the exported HTML file. It should be exported as values if you selected Notes:Export to Webpage..

I have created jira (ORG-27190) to implement it to save the note window with values.
