Is it possible to get the Y axis to do this?:



Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2022 (64-bit) SR1 9.9.0.225 (Academic)

You could use the Distance Annotation.

Thank you. An annotation is the most immediate option I considered, but my question is whether it can be done with the segment being a real Y axis (that will rescale and all). I will try this. I am not sure whether the distance annotation update size/position if the graph changes.

oh this is good!
The only little thing is that the line is stuck at the level of the X axis. I'd like to move it up. However, if I choose initially a segment in the middle of the Y axis (say from 10 to 20 in your example), then the graph is segmented by the X. Maybe that can be overcome.

Thanks so much, this is a very good option despite of what I just wrote!

ok!
The other thing is, if I have several curves on the layer and hide for example the tallest one, auto-resizing the graph reverts the axis to its original divisions and squashes the graph... but it can be adjusted ok using the handles instead of the auto-option, so it also is an issue that can be overcome.
