Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
OriginPro 2024 (64-bit) SR1 10.1.0.178

Operating System: Windows 11 Enterprise

I am working with a worksheet that contains about 500 columns and about 1000 rows. The file size is not large (just few megabytes). The computer has 32 GB RAM available. Yet, Origin freezes when working with this worksheet. It takes me to wait for several seconds (or up to a minute) to wait for it to unfreeze.

Could you please advise, is it normal/expected that Origin glitches with this file size?
