Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Origin 2016 (64-bit)Sr2

Operating System:Edition Windows 10 Enterprise
Version 21H2
I have not used Origin in a while. Now when I try to format axes on a new or old project, the program seizes up and I have to hit escape to bring it back. https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/LongTime.opj

Hello,
I couldn't reproduce it in 2016. So it could be something related to your PC.

There used to be issues with some default HP Printer. So maybe you can try changing your default printer to see if the issue goes away.

Also check if this FAQ helps.

Thanks, Snow

Hi,

I did manage to solve it following a suggestion from someone at Origin, but I could not find the post.

quote:
Your suggestion worked. The link said to delete the registry key
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\OriginLab\Origin 9.0\International\Dialogs\"
Actually, the key was not present, but inserting it solved the problem. So thanks! I love ORIGIN, but the version I have is sufficient for me and I have not wanted to pay to upgrade (or go to the subscription mode). So I am happy to keep it working.
