OriginPro 2024b (64-bit) 10.1.5.132
Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 10.0.19045.4651

Greetings!

My input data are date-times stored as numerical values.
How do I format columns in a DescStats report to correctly reflect date and time?

Thank you.

I've created jira for this (ORG-29732).

Hi Andrey,

The Statistics on Columns tool will generate a normal flat sheet besides the hierarchy report sheet.

On that flat sheet you can easily change the column display format.

Moreover, the flat sheet also shows the group column headers you mentioned in another post.

What is the advantage to use the report sheet in your story?

How do I tell Statistics on Columns tool to generate a normal flat sheet besides the hierarchy report sheet?

It's on by default.
In the dialog, go to Output tab, see the Quantities node.

Thanks, Snow

Usually when you do statistics on columns, it generates two sheets in same workbook. One hierarchical sheet "DescStatsOnCols1" and one flat sheet "DescStatsQuantities1"

Thanks, Snow

Hi Andrey,

In your sample project "2024-09-04.opju" in another post, the flat sheet is "DescStatsQuantities1", on the right side of the "DescStatsOnCols1" report sheet.

I see what you mean now.
You are right: there is no need to set custom formats in this case.
