Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2024b - 10.1.5.132 Operating System: Win 11
I am trying to find a way to calculate the cooling rate. If I do it manually, It is in the range of 7-13 degC/min. If I use the "Analysis -> Fitting ->Linear Fit", the slope shows "-17421". What function can I use, to calculate it corectly?

Hello INFLPR,
Thank you for reaching out. Since the base unit of the X axis is days, the slope has been calculated as degC per day. Dividing the slope by 1440 will give the units you mention, degC/min.

Hi Nicholas G,
Thx, it worked. Is there a way to change the base unit of the X axis from days to min (or any other unit of time), besides using the formula of dividing the X column? |
