Dear Sir, when I was running the script in the image, a 'window Close option' window appeared on the first seven pages, while none of the subsequent pages displayed this window. And executing the same script in another file won't pop up either. Why is that? |

I couldn't reproduce it in Origin 2024b. Which version of Origin are you using? Could you share a sample project with such issue? Thank you.

I found several problematic project files (one containing ninety-one workbooks, the names in order), which, in addition to the problems I described above, are characterized by: When I opened the first workbook property, I found that there was no next workbook (logically, the next workbook should be the second workbook, then the second and third), but only the previous workbook. I clicked the previous workbook button and found that it was the 88th workbook, and clicked the previous workbook button and the fourth workbook appeared. Click again and the ninety-first workbook appears. That is to say, the fourth, eighty-eighth, and first workbooks in the project file become the last three workbooks for the project (but I only want them in order). Below is a project file for one of my problems (actually a friend's file that I studied after I discovered the problem), and my version of origin is 2021. https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/zengyi2.zip

The dialog pops up because the short name is already used by another workbook. You can't assign the same short name to two windows.
