Origin Ver. and Service Release: Pro 2025 (10.2.0.188)
Operating System: Win2010Pro v.1809

Hello,

What command should I use to update the automatically generated legend on the chart? Pressing Ctrl-L leads to the desired result - unlike the legend command and legendupdate X-function.

Legend:

\l(1,m1,1) %(1,m1,1)
\l(1,m2,1) %(1,m2,1)
\l(1,m3,1) %(1,m3,1)

Thanx in advance.

Hello aplotnikov,

Ctrl+L is Reconstruct Legend. The equivalent LabTalk command is:
legend -r

More information at https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/Legend-cmd#-r.2C_reconstruct_a_best_fit_legend

Best,
Chao

Thank you!

For some reason I tried the reconstruction mode only in the X-function, but not in the legend command - now I just wonder why.
