I have an experimental spectra with a nonlinear x axis due to uniques detector calibration and a synthetic spectra with a linear x axis. I would like to subtract one from another, is this possible in origin?

Yes, we have Simple Curve Math
https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Math-SimpleColumnCurveMath

There is also baseline subtraction in Peak Analyzer
https://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/Create-Subtract-Baseline
On Baseline mode page, choose "Use Existing Dataset"

Thanks, Snow
