Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Operating System: Hi everyone, I need some help with adding error bars to my plot. The graph I’ve created includes a single X-axis and multiple Y-axes, each with corresponding mean Y values. I’d like to show min-max error bars for each data point, as every point has its own unique minimum and maximum values. Is it possible to include this in the plot?

Yes, you need to have the corresponding error bar columns in worksheet first. E.g. add 6 columns to put min and max for for B, C, D respectively. I would recommend you add put the mean-min, and max-mean values as error bars.
Then you can double click the 1 icon to open the Plot Details dialog. Select plot B at bottom panel. Then in middle panel, right click to check "Y Error Bars Plus/Minus" to see corresponding columns for specifying plus or minus bars to check which column is use for YErr+ and YErr-. Click Replace to replace the current plot (without error bar) with the new (one with error bar). Repeat the same for plot C and D. https://www.originlab.com/videos/details.aspx?id=252
Note: If you did put min and max values in those error bar columns, then you will need to go to plot details. Select each error bar node on left. Set Value Type to End Value respectively so the error bars end at the specified min and max value.
Or if you can put the min and max error bars to the right of corresponding data. E.g. after B, error bar column(s), C error bar columns, ..., and set those error bar columns as YErr, u can directly highlight all columns to get the line+symbol with error bars directly. Then you only need to set the error bars to show only plus or minus in Plot Details, which will be faster.
Thanks, Snow |

You are welcome Alan.
BTW, I forgot to mention the Set Value Type to End Value in Plot Details is a new feature in Origin 2025b.
Thanks, Snow |
