OriginPro 2026b (64-bit) 10.3.5.222
Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 10.0.19045.7725

Greetings!

Please see the following test project:
https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/2026-10-20b.opju

What the better alternatives to graph similar datasets as line plots, on a shared X axis, line color variation and individual Y scaling for each plot?

It seems like creating multimple individual graph layers is a bit overkill and Origin has better neat options.

Thank you.

Hello Andrey,

Some graph templates you can consider:

Plot: Multi-Panel, Multi-Axis: Stacked Panels...
For stacked panels, notice it uses the default 'stack' template. You can create your own template based off of this one if you want to customize other plot properties like the color.

Plot: Multi-Column Browser: Stacked Lines Browser
For a similar plot, search for the toolbar button'Stacked Lines by Y Offset' in the Origin Search Bar.

Plot: 3D: Y Color-Mapped Waterfall
For a similar plot, search for the toolbar button 'Waterfall'.

I recommend browsing our graph gallery or search for graph types:

Best,
Chao

Dear Chao,

Thank you for sharing the list of potential graphs.
In make all the lines have different scales, that's why individual scaling is the key feature:

Is there a graph type besides Multi-Axis: Stacked Panels that does offer individual line plot Y re-scaling?

This is more or less the desired resulting graph (created manually based on Multi-Axis Y template):
