Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.1
Operating System: XP

Hi, another question.
I have a bar diagramm, again with 13 values. Now I would like to display the values (fromn the dataset) in addition to the bars on the graph. So that each bar shows its corresponding value. How does this work?

Hi Jenny28583,

This is not supported right now, but here is a workaround:

1> add another col to the worksheet and copy the y data to this new col
2> set the new col as type Label (right-click col header and select Set As)
3> Double click the layer icon on top left of graph to bring up Layer dialog
4> Add the new label column to the right panel in this dialog by selecting it in left panel and clicking right arrow button and close dialog

This will place labels at the x,y values corresponding to each bar. You can then double-click the graph and go into Plot Details dialog to make changes such as font, size, color, x and y offset from the raw x,y values etc. as shown in picture below.
