Operating System:
i meassure a value, plotted on the y-axis, and time , plotted at the x-axis. the data-amount is very big. i have to look for special data-sets in this whole bunch of data. So i want a fast method to scroll along the x-axis.

for example: i want to give a starting-point and a time-window, and then i want a button to push. And with every push i want to go through the data along the x-axis step by step.

is this possible
