Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin):7.5
Operating System:xp

I have a script that works properly in my laptop. When I executed the same script in a coworker computer the script didn´t work. He is using origin 7.0. So after a few days he installed origin 7.5, but the scripts still didn´t work well. In his computers there are commands that doesn´t work at all, for example if I open a script window and execute the following

getfile *.dat
I get a command error! message.

All other origin functions seems to work properly.

We installed origin 7.5 in a new computer and during the first time we used origin, the program compiled a lot of funtcions. In this case my scripts did work!!. So I wonder how do I make origin 7.5 compile all the functions if origin 7.0 was previously installed on a computer. Is it possible that this is the problem?

I have no better idea what the problem is? Can you give some ideas or some test to see if his origin is working properly?

Thanks Flavio.

Hi Flavio,

Yes, this one would stump you. I believe your coworker has encountered an incompatibility with his default printer driver. Please click here to learn more.

In Origin 7.5, the problem has been fixed in SR6, service release 6. For 7.0, you can just get the new DLL. (We've done basic testing to ensure that the new DLL works with 7.0.)
