Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: XP

Hello,
is there a possibility to get the name of the marked dataset. I don't mean "%(n, @W)" because I'm choosing the dataset with a "mouse-click".

Thanks.:

You can assign the name of the selected object (dataset, text label, etc.) to the string variable %A with select -g A...

select -g A;
%A=;
Data1_C
