Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5G
Operating System: Win XP

Hi ! I want to filter my worksheet with a certain threshold value. If the number in the cell is higher than this threshold value the value should be kept, if it's lower the cell should be left blank.
What's the sign or sysmbol I can use for this blank cell ?
This blank cell should not be treated as a zero or as not existing because I want to calculate the mean of all cells afterwards.
Maybe someone can help with this. Thanks !

Origin's symbol for missing value is '--' and the missing value itself is called NANUM...

double test(double x, double dThreshold)
{
return x > dThreshold ? x : NANUM;
}

Missing values are ignored in most statistical calculations such as Data_sum.
