Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR5 Operating System: Windows 2000
Hello, I use Origin to draw plots out of table data. When I have a big plot with several coordinate planes, Origin prints this plot only onto one page. Is it possible to distribute plots over several pages, for better viewing properties?
Cheers Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,
You can do the following: 1> From the graph, bring up Plot Details, click on the Graph node in tree panel on the left and then on the Print/Dimensions tab 2> Change the page size as desired, such as setting it to a large size such as say 30 in x 20 in or whatever is the total page size that you desire - probably you already have done this... 3> If you want to repeatedly use this graph as a custom template, uncheck the "Set to printer dimenion when creating graphs from this template" check box. Then if you save the graph as a template, next time you create a new instance from this template, the page size will stay as your specified size. If box is checked, Origin will rescale the page to the printer specification, which in your case you don't want 4> Uncheck the "Use printer default dimensions when printing" check boxes. You can do this prior to saving template so that this information also gets saved with the template
Now when you print, the graph will be printed in segments and you can then lay the sheets next to each other on a large table and look at it!
I also wanted to point out that the "Use printer default dimensions when printing" can be accessed from the File->Print dialog and then clicking on Options button. If the boxes are checked, which is the default, then the page is scaled to fit printer dimension when printing.
