Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 7.5G SR3 (v7.5853 (B853))
Operating System:Windows XP SP2

Hello,
I am running origin on my Sony Vaio VGN FE 31M laptop. Since I also use a docking port, I have two hardware profiles on my laptop. When I use origin my laptop without a docking port, it stops responding when I click on the layer number button on the plot window. I can only stop origin from the task manager.

Please help me overcome this problem.

You may need to update to Origin 7.5 SR6 as explained here...
