Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7
Operating System: WinXP

Hi, please excuse my newbie question. In Excel, by selecting multiple x with one y, the program will create a column graph where the x values are combined. For example, I have 3 x/y pairs for one condition and 3 for another. Excel separates the two blocks by a vertical line, showing both x categories.

Is something similar also possible in Origin? I didn't find anything like that so far.
Thanks, Jakob

I'm not quite sure what plot type you create in Excel. Is it a clustered column plot? Maybe you could even insert an image here to show the type of plot you'd like to create.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply!
The following pic should illustrate my problem:

x values are i.e. "Serotonin", "Überstand" and "-" for one y value.

Thanks, Jakob
