Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 Operating System: Vista
In version 7.0 I could create an xy graph with x1, y1 x2,y2 xn, yn all on the same layer. I can't do this anymore without creating a layer for each series. Am I missing something?
I have no problem creating a single-layer graph from A(X1),B(Y1),C(X2),D(Y2)... select all columns and then select a plot style from the 7.5 Plot menu. (See below.) How are you trying to do it?
As you mentioned your OS is Vista, so I tested this on Vista. It still works fine. Then you must do something wrong. Try with the steps Mike has describled and tell us the outcomings.
Thanks for the help. My confusion came from not knowing that the plot setup box actually has three parts (2 of them hidden by default). I now can select multiple xy pairs from multiple sheets. Jack
