this is probably a silly question but i just need a starting point, is it possible to build up a new equation for non linear fitting where one of the parameters should be previously obtained from a numerical resolution (bisection method for instance)with further parametrization.
No previous experience with programming, so i just need a positive comment to start to dig in literature.
Thanks a lot

yes, it is possible as long as the method for the numerical resolution is valid. For how to write the code for parameter initialization, you can take a look at this.

If you have any problem on programming, you can post your equation and the method here and we will try to write some sample code for you.
