Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR5
Operating System: Windows XP

I need to add a second y scale (position: right) which corresponds to the first one (position: left). The relation between the left and the right y axis is described by y ~ constant/y (e.g. T ~ 1/T or eV ~ nm). Is there an easy way to generate this second scale?

Hi Carsten:

You can add a left Y axis by active the graph page, then select Edit : New Layer : (Linked)Right Y from menu.

To set the right axis as 1/y, double click the axis, in the Scale tab of Y Axis dialog, select Reciprocal on Type drop-down list.

If you need constant/y axis, in the Tick Labels tab of the same dialog, enter 1/constant in Divide by Factor box.

Hope it helps!

Larry
