Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: Windows XP

I'm looking for any way to visulize different composition within a quaternary plot e.g. for the Fe-Ni-Al-Co system and to assign additional informattion by color coding.

Is there a way to do this in Origin 7.5?

Hello Robert:

Origin does not have a built-in Quaternary plot but you might consider using Origin to represent your data as a 3D-XYZ scatter plot with the 4th dimension color mapped to the scatter points.

See the discussion in our web Knowledge Based article below:

Hi robertloebel,

Since Origin 2019, 3D Tetrahedral plot is supported, which should be a kind of quaternary phase diagram.
